TIM

Magic, Storytelling, and Emotions
  • Acronym: Time Inside Myself

  • Through Innerself Magic

  • From the Latin Timeo: to fear, to dread, to be afraid.

If Laurent's daughter had been a boy, he would have been named... TIM.

Explaining this title already reveals the keys to the show: a dive into Laurent's subconscious at the moment he learns that he is going to become a father, a journey through the fears that assail him at that moment.

These fears are expressed through magic, music, images…

This moment of reflection is suspended in time, like the scenography:
a pile of boxes in formation, some already on the ground or about to reach it, others frozen in their fall.

In this new creation by Company Alogique, magic disrupts our perceptions and takes us on a poetic adventure where everyone will undoubtedly recognize a part of themselves.

Here, imagination is the only limit. You won't just see the magic, you'll experience it in a whole new way. Instead of clashing with your reasoning, it will nourish your imagination and transport you to a completely different reality.

As soon as the curtain rises, the play defies gravity, revealing a man suspended in mid-air, seemingly frozen in mid-fall. Then, for nearly an hour, the entire set takes flight in strange, erratic movements, magically bouncing and playing hide-and-seek with our perception. TIM deploys a robust, invisible apparatus to ultimately weave a delicate ode to the fragility of humankind.
